Choosing where to study for the next three or four years shouldn’t come down to guesswork and glossy brochures. That’s why we’re hosting an international university fair on campus on 26 March.
Eighty university representatives will be at Haut-Lac International Bilingual School from 17:30 to 19:00 on 26 March. They’re coming from reputable institutions in Switzerland, the UK, Canada, the US, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Qatar.
Looking at the Russell Group? Durham, Edinburgh and King’s will be there. Considering Swiss hospitality courses? Go straight to the EHL and Les Roches tables. Interested in the sciences? Lucerne University, Efrei and Florida Tech will be waiting for you.
IB students can ask the hard questions. Will I get in with my predicted grades? How much will I really spend once rent and food are factored in? What happens if I struggle with the workload? Where do graduates from this programme actually work? Can I switch courses if I hate it?
University websites won’t tell you any of this honestly. Representatives can.
They know which programmes fill up fast, which accept late applications, which professors to seek out, which cities drain your bank account. They’ll look at your academic profile and tell you straight whether you’re wasting your time applying or whether you’re a strong candidate.
Parents will get honest answers too. What support exists when things go wrong? How does financial aid actually work? What’s included in accommodation costs and what isn’t?
Two hours. Eighty universities. Everything you need to decide where to study during the next four years of your life.
