Haut-Lac is proud to share its latest International Baccalaureate (IB) results. The Class of 2026 achieved a 100% pass rate in both the IB Diploma Programme and the IB Career-related Programme, with an average score of 34 points across the year group.
Eight students also earned a Bilingual Diploma and one even gained the Advanced Bilingual Diploma, a real mark of strength in both English and French. As a Swiss international school built on thirty years of bilingual education, Haut-Lac places real weight on this kind of IB result. It shows what students can do when they learn to think and argue with equal confidence in two languages.
Behind these results lie two years of hard work, late nights and steady support from teachers, families and friends. Small class sizes and close guidance from IB teachers at every stage of the Diploma or Career-related pathway gave each student the personal attention they needed to meet every challenge and succeed with distinction.
Their IB results have earned them places at some of the world’s leading universities, including EPFL, EHL, the University of Edinburgh, King’s College London, McGill University and the University of St Andrews. These offers sit alongside a long record of Haut-Lac graduates who go on to top universities across Switzerland, Europe, the UK and the US.
