Student-athlete anahie at Haut-Lac

Anahie recently made her mark on the international golfing stage, when she represented Switzerland at the World Junior Girls Championship in Canada.

The experience demanded everything: technical precision on unfamiliar courses, mental resilience under competition pressure, and the ability to perform when it counts. And Anahie delivered.

But here’s what many people don’t see: the weeks of training, the early or late practice sessions, the careful coordination of travel and competition schedules around academic commitments.

Student-athletes live complex, demanding lives. They’re managing coursework, they’re balancing training regimes and competition calendars, and they’re keeping up the physical and mental stamina required to excel in both arenas.

At Haut-Lac, we’ve built our approach around this reality. Flexible schedules allow for training blocks. Personalised learning pathways mean students don’t have to choose between their sport and their education. Strong academic support ensures they stay on track, even when competitions take them across the world.
