At Haut-Lac International Bilingual School, we pride ourselves on offering our students many opportunities to develop citizenship and promote personal, social and health education. Our goal is to help raise self-sufficient, confident and responsible adults.
This section provides you with information on the social structure of the secondary school, and how it contributes to creating an environment of supported learning, human connection and personal contribution.
Haut-Lac International Bilingual School operates a House system whereby all students and teaching staff are allocated to one of 4 houses during their time at Haut-Lac. Our experience shows that the House system creates healthy connections between students, promotes friendly competition, and gives children a safe place to be. Learn more about our House system here.
The tutor programme is delivered by form tutors during the first period on Wednesday mornings. It occasionally includes visits by outside agencies such as the police and the FCD (drugs prevention course), as well as guest speaker parents. Learn more about the tutor programme here.
