LEARNING MEANS THE WORLD

INFANT & PRIMARY PROGRAMMELEARNING MEANS THE WORLD

Our personalised teaching curriculum is based around four concepts, namely culture, conflict, communication and conservation. They are taught through creative, innovative and thought-provoking themes, enabling students to develop and apply their skills and knowledge to the real world.

At its core, the curriculum enables students to develop transferable, lifelong learning skills rather than solely accumulate facts and figures.

In line with the IB philosophy and that of the school, it encourages students to become active, curious, passionate, and independent learners. They learn to work together, communicate effectively, recognise and respect similarities and differences, and appreciate nature and the world around them.

WHO IS IT FOR
  • Students aged 3 to 11 who learn better when they get to put what they learn into practice in and out of the classroom
WHAT IS IT
  • A bilingual or English programme taught through themes that encourage curiosity and discovery
  • A programme that develops not only literacy and maths, but also the transferable skills required for lifelong learning
  • A programme that gets our students up and about discovering how their themes of study link to the real world. From Ancient Greek dress-up days and Roman bread-making workshops to orienteering afternoons and language weeks, our teachers bring learning to life to make lessons fun, stimulating and memorable. Gone are the days of learning at a desk from 8:30 to 15:30!
