Extra-Curricular Activities

ABOUT OURExtra-curricular programme

Education is not just about academics, it is also about having new experiences, meeting new people and learning to work together. As our students move up through our international school, we want to help them have fun, learn new skills, see new places, meet different kinds of people and take on leadership roles through our extra-curricular programme.

ABOUTOUR OUT-OF-HOURS SUPERVISION

We understand the challenges of trying to juggle school, work and family demands, so we have made the following additional services available to Haut-Lac families to give them more flexibility.

  • A school pick-up/drop-off service to areas up to 30km away payable on a termly basis. Tickets are also available for one-off journeys depending on availability.
  • Breakfast Club for parents who need to drop their children off at school between 7:15 and 8:00.
  • After-school supervision from 15:45 to 18:00 payable on a termly basis.

About

AboutOur Clubs

Haut-Lac International Bilingual School offers both study and activity clubs run by our teachers and external providers.

From football, climbing, sailing and tennis to German, yoga, dance and choir, the 151 different clubs offered across all school sections ensure every student finds something they enjoy.

AboutOur School Trips

Fieldtrips are an integral part of school life at Haut-Lac. Careful planning and thought goes into organising visits and activities that will enrich, educate, entertain and inspire students.

Switzerland

Our Infant and Primary school trips are designed for specific age groups to improve their understanding of classroom material through practical experience in the local area. With the exception of the P5 overnight trip at the end of the year, these generally take place within a school day.

Our Secondary cultural trips bring together students of different ages to encourage interaction. These trips are designed to immerse students in the language, culture and traditions of other countries as well as give them hands-on experience of curriculum topics.
