Entrepreneurs pitch at the UN

Fifty-three DP1 and DP2 Economics and Business students headed to Geneva on Tuesday 14 November. The students were able to learn about the history and importance of humanitarian aid at the Red Cross Museum. Whilst the DP2s went the World Trade Organization to learn more about how international trade is monitored and encouraged, the DP1s explored the United Nations. All students ended the day at the Palais des Nations, where young entrepreneurs from around the world were invited to pitch business ideas contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A selected panel of impact investors and experts provided feedback on how to promote sustainable and inclusive growth through entrepreneurship.
